Holistic, creatively constructive Supervision for practitioners in private practice and those working in human services.
I come from a relational Gestalt perspective and incorporate a neuroscience informed somatic perspective. I’m interested to support you develop your idiosyncratic style, enhance your possibilities, and open a collaborative enquiry into the issues and themes your client faces. I offer to you my passionate belief in the therapeutic relationship itself, and my lived experience of the intimate person-to-person relating of therapy. I can support you to bring curiosity and playfulness to the deepest dilemmas set before you. We can explore the refinement of interventions that lead you and your client on a journey of discovery. In our conversations we can ground back into the simple tools of contact and awareness and their astute application at the right moments.
I am available for face to face sessions for practitioners from the Southern Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region. I have supervised many clinicians in NGO’s here including DrugArm, QPAAST, The Men and Family Centre, CASPA, Interrelate and ACON.
I am also available for on-line supervision. The supervision provided in on-line meetings can be case consultation and practice reviews, and can also incorporate post-session feedback from a video of a live session of your work.
For Gestalt Trainees and Practitioners.
Heart-felt engagement in your Gestalt Psychotherapy clinical practice, your relationships with your clients, and the questions it raises for you. I’m interested to support your skill, insight, dialogue and creativity as a therapist. My work affirms you as it protects the trust our clients place in us. I also see our conversation as a way to investigate the philosophical underpinnings of our Gestalt theory that supports us all to continue to evolve more congruent practice and theory. Every practitioner influences our field. Passionate, co-created enquiry resting on existentialist, phenomenological perspectives, bringing a relational and dialogical framework into our viewing of your practice.
If you are a student, I love supporting the development of your work, helping you find confidence and faith in the uniqueness of what you bring to the therapeutic relationship. I like to simplify the principles you are learning about in your study, so you can see them in action and rely on their effectiveness.
Please note if you are currently a student at GTB, I can see you for supervision but faculty members cannot see you for one-to-one therapy.
